I coach because ...
I coach because I love coaching. I mean I really love coaching. I love the process and the pace, celebrating successes as well as failures, focusing on the present and the future. I love my clients. Truly. And I love that I have found a profession which makes it absolutely okay for me to love my clients. No conflict of interest or ethical breach—just equal partnerships that enable my clients to grow, which nurtures me in the process.

I coach because I have finally found my calling, because it is what I was meant to do, because I get to help people discover how truly extraordinary they are. I coach because it is fun and playful, because it makes a huge difference in my clients' lives, because I get to spend the day talking about opening up possibilities for people to stretch into their most fulfilling lives. I coach because I want to change the world and coaching is a powerful vehicle for change.
I coach because it allows me the creativity of using metaphor and intuition, because it acknowledges my emotional intelligence in the service of people's lives. I coach because I don’t have to get into a car, and I can work with people all over the country.
I coach because I have never enjoyed anything I've ever done professionally as much as I enjoy coaching. Everything I've ever done informs this time of my life. The work, for me, is gratifying, positive, and inspiring; the results, for clients, can be quite remarkable, with major and minor shifts leading to continuous life growth and change.
